Inclusive Playground, Asphalt Trails, and Three Picnic Pavillions

Swift-Cantrell Park has an 18,500-square-foot space making it the largest inclusive playground in the state. It features five different play structures, a pavilion, and swings. This is the perfect spot for kids of all ages to have fun while enjoying the outdoors. There are also two other age-appropriate playgrounds available.

There's also a mile-long asphalt trail along the perimeter and a half-mile asphalt trail in the center of the park that's perfect for walkers, bikers, joggers, or anyone who enjoys a nice stroll in nature.

People enjoy going to parks to have birthday parties or just to have a picnic with family and friends. You'll enjoy that there are three picnic pavilions so that you can have a gathering without worrying that you'll get caught out in the rain if the weather turns bad. Pavilions are also one of the best ways to avoid getting too hot by staying out of the sun.

Splash Pad

This park has a splash area with a variety of features, including geysers, mists, jet streams, and a fountain spray. There are also multiple sea silhouettes that can get children's imaginations running. The amenity consists of 3,200 square feet of water play area that's motion-sensitive so that the water is always running when you are. The hours of operation are seasonal and based on weather, and the Splash Pad is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Dog Park

Frank Boone Dog Park is a 1.4-acre stretch of land that offers people a place to let their dogs run free. This leash-free dog area has perimeter fencing that's six feet high, so even the most athletic dogs can't escape the area. There are also separate areas for large and small dogs to run, and the watering station is a great place to give your dog a drink. You can even hose off your dog if they get in some mud when you go to the dog wash area. Plus, this dog park provides plastic bags and receptacle stations for when your dog decides to do his business.

Skate Park

This skate park has 40,000 square feet of room for you to ride. Within this space, there's a bowl, flow course, and a Street League Skateboarding Foundation Certified Skate Plaza. Use of the facility is free, but skaters under 15 must wear a helmet.
