If you have not started planning how you are going to celebrate New Year's Eve in Atlanta, now is the time to do so. Regardless of if you are looking for a family-friendly event or an epic party, the Peach City has you covered. Here are four of the most popular ideas to consider when you are narrowing down your celebration options.

Atlanta Peach Drop: Times Square has nothing on the Atlanta Peach Drop. This is a great idea if you have kids in town. The family-friendly festival includes food vendors, live music, and carnival rides. The culmination of the event is the dropping of the iconic peach at midnight. This year's event is back at Underground Atlanta. Weighing in at over 800 pounds, the famous peach is made of a combination of foam and fiberglass. It takes just under one minute for the peach to drop down from the 136-foot-tower.

Park Bench in the Battery: For a totally rockin' night, be sure to consider purchasing a ticket for the celebration at the Park Bench in the Battery. The early piano show kicks off the festivities at 6 pm with DJ Tron taking to the stage at 9 pm for the Main Event Party. Revelers will enjoy dancing to a variety of tunes as well as a midnight champagne toast. Choose from either general admission tickets or special VIP packages that include bottle service.

Red Top Brew House In Acworth: Acworth is the place to be on New Year's Eve. Red Top Brewhouse is hosting a celebration, complete with food, drink, and a silent disco. The first 150 attendees will receive headphones so that they can "dance like nobody is watching." Guests can also choose to enjoy the house music if they prefer. Dress up in your favorite disco costume to be eligible to win a prize. Tickets are just $25 for this unique event. New Year's Eve in Acworth does not get better than this.

The Battery Presented by Xfinity: Kick off the year 2022 on a high note at The Battery Atlanta. Presented by Xfinity, this event bills itself as one of the largest outdoor New Year's events in the Atlanta area. Hosted by Mark Owens of the Atlanta Braves, the first part of the festivities is designed for families. Bring everyone out for the Early Innings portion of the celebration or stay late for the party during the Late Innings portion. Regardless of how long you stay, you will enjoy great music and revelry. If you make it until midnight, you will be treated to a stunning firework and confetti display soaring over Truist Park.

You cannot go wrong with any of these ideas. Gather your loved ones together and celebrate the arrival of 2022 at any of these great parties.
