Reformation Brewery has the best beer in town, but the business goes much further. It also encourages the kinds of open-minded conversations and connections that bring people together and strengthen communities.

The Story

Tucked into the hills of North Georgia, the independent brewery has locations in Woodstock, Canton, and Smyrna. Besides its hometown brews, the Woodstock location features everything from pit-cooked barbecue and even yoga classes.

Studies show that storytelling helps us break down barriers and establish bonds, a quality that blends well with the brewery's philosophy. Whether the occasion is Pi Day for the tech crowd or flower-perfect pairings for Mother’s Day, Reformation Brewery is the ideal setting for creating memories.

Celebrate the fall with “pints and pie,” or top off Friday night football with an award-winning craft beer. If your best friend is a mutt, look for a special bring-your-own-pup (BYOP) event. Hang out on the deck, listen to live music, and enjoy the good vibes. Is there a better way to end a summer day? Or any day for that matter?

The Brews

Reformation Brewery features an extensive list of beers, including seasonal, year-round, and limited-release. Some are available to go, but others are sold only in the brewery. Among the many options are Belgian, IPA, lager, pale ale, sour, stout, porter, Oktoberfest, wheat, and barrel-aged.

A lighthearted category, Cornucopia of Mediocrity, sports original names like You’re Better Off Somewhere Else and Don’t Waste Your Hard-earned Money. There are also four IPA brews in the It’s Always Beer Weather category. Brewery-only beers include quirky names like BUDDY–DWWO V.10 FOR PETS FOR VETS, Bougie & Pretentious, and Pseudo Intellectual.

Visit Reformation Brewery or check out any of the three locations’ websites for more information.

Other Things to Do in Woodstock

In 2020, Money magazine ranked Woodstock one of the 50 best places in the United States to live. Its proximity to Atlanta and its excellent school system make it desirable to families and professionals. Home prices are reasonable, the unemployment rate is low, and the median household income is around $76,000. Woodstock has all the benefits of a progressive suburb, and it’s only a 45-minute drive from all the big city offers.

There are no shortages of restaurants and things to do in Woodstock that you can check out before you head to Reformation Brewery. Olde Rope Mill Park, a favorite of residents and guests, sits on the historic ruins of an old rope mill. It features a children’s playground, a boat ramp, and walking paths. Picnic tables and benches provide a space for eating and watching canoes on the river. The Cherokee Aquatic Center, the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, and the Blanket Creek Trail System round out the list of the top spots in the city.
